Thoughts on an ACB50 115 v Ampeg Rocket Series 115 Combo

I know the two combos mentioned are at different price points and are tube v solid state etc, however does anyone have any experience with the Adam Clayton ACB50 115 v Ampeg Rocket Series 115 Combo for sound quality? FWIW, To be used with a P Bass.

Never heard of the AMPEG Rocket Series 115 combo..

Everyone's drueling over the Fender ACB50 combo!

I have not heard the AC, but the Ampeg Rocket sounds great with a P. I doubt it would disappoint you. But I can't compare it to the other one.

Very few people on earth will have tried both, much less head-to-head.

Having listened to demos of the AC and played the Ampeg a bunch (pre-Yamaha version, and I’m unsure of there’s any difference), I’d expect more versatility from the Ampeg while saving $1500 and 20 lbs so would take the Ampeg …probably even for the same price.
