Thoughts on EMG SJ and EMG X in same bass

I am wondering how it would sound with a EMG SJ in the neck and EMG LJX in the bridge. I already have the SJ from a different set. I would also be using the active tone control with this. Has anyone done this before and would it give me a more agressive tone from the bridge pickup?

Well the impedances are different. That may cause balance issues.

On the other hand, it can't hurt to try!

I run a 40CS in the P-position and a 40JX in the bridge position of my gig bass. It works great. Just make sure you use the ABCX to sum everything together so you don't lose what the X has to offer.
