Thoughts on my recent GC repair.

Exactly what the person below just said!!! its Crazy i thought i would be the only one! i dropped off an Hartke bass amp head and it has been there 2 months shy of 3 years! and just want they said below, i call i go in nothing works, i say i want my amp back, he showed me a bunch of electronic parts and dust, if i knew how to put it all together i would of done it my self in the first place...my wooden case was who knows where in that mess, Horrible customer service! i just filed a better business burrow report and hope to get my amp replaced fixed somehting...i've been more than patient waiting 3 years. this guy is extremely slow i would highly recommend not dropping off anything here if you ever want to see it again.

Heh-heh..this is a review from a disgruntled customer at the place where i've had my GK800RB head for repair. I brought it to them back in March. Every time i call to get a status report, they say... "oh yeah, that GK head is the next in line for repair" I call every month and get the same story. *sobbing*

Thanks everybody for taking the time to read about my saga. I dont intend to bash all GC's, or their techs, just the one here at home. Also, thanks for all the great advice and lessons, I do pay attention to you all. Rock on TB!

Is this GC? 3 years? How could you possibly let it go for that long? After a few months I would have taken it someplace else.

Ah, no,... this is NOT GC. This is an independent tech. Hes actually good at fixing stuff. Just takes him a while to get around to it.

I finally got my amp back. (Aug 4th) Works great. total bill ....wait for it.... $34 !!!!!! booyah!! 5 months downtime, tho.
