Thoughts on Shiftline A+ Astronaut III Reverb?

I have the V2- I was interested in the V3 but it was more, in features and in price, than what I needed. The V2 sounds fantastic- I'll regularly mess with it and lose the next 15 minutes enjoying the sounds it makes. I don't use it for pure reverb, but for atmospheric stuff it's fantastic, and I'm sure based on the quality of the weird stuff the normal stuff would sound good.

My favorite thing to do is use the freeze effect on the V2 (which has a really neat character to it) and send it to a Memory Boy (analog delay) and have that self oscillate. I then use the tails switch and Decay knob on the V2 to morph the held note and mess with the Time and Blend knobs on the Memory Boy to do crazy stuff. It's a lot of fun.

I have the V3, and I don't know if something's wrong with it, but I'm finding it's really overloading the signal on some of the more far out ones, unless I have the mix pretty low. I was originally thrilled with this pedal, but I'm finding it not as useful as I originally thought I would.
