You, Turock and P Aaron share that honor.
If I could find my original avatar I'd go back to it, of course I'd need to send Paul some $ first.
I added to my sig 'cause of the cancer battle & the Fender clubbing stuff.

I can't remember.......Hey kids,
This topic is only for people who joined before 2002. We'll talk about the good ol' days before all these kids and their damn tabs and Korn music.
Has Clan Tabevil still been a vigilantly getting all curmudgeony on the youth of today?
I'm still on my original avatar, too.
Perhaps, but you changed yer *name*, didn't you?? That nullifies any avatar longevity!![]()
Who the hell am I thinking about then???Nope, same name since day 1.
Good to see y 'all. I would have joined sooner but was still enjoying Kevin verses the world on TBL (some epic Fbass vs Fodera battles). Embarrassed to say I followed him here, but glad I did. Also spent time at the Dudepit (what ever happened to him) ? Some oldtimers over on the dwindling fenderforum (lotsa knowledge still there). Been a long time since reading Harmony Central reviews. I like it here best of all!

I would have recognized you for that honor but you yelled at me to get off your lawn. You're mean.

TB before 2002? Phssst, if you haven't been a member of alt.guitar.bass and argued with Peter Duncan about the merits of composite necks, you are a noooooob.![]()
Don't forget the great Duncan/Brad wars. My personal favorite was the "can you slap on fretless? question. Brad posted a nice cut of himself doing so on a recent recording, and Duncan critiqued the playing negatively, and kept missing when Brad repeatedly told him he played what he was asked play.
Mike N, where's your pumping pistons? Maybe the longest running avatar here?
