Made a rookie mistake and my Yamahiko dual element pickup has M8 threads. Anyone know the tap measurement? The packaging doesn't state it and my luthier needs it for when my new bridge comes.

For coarse threads, 6.8mm. For fine pitch, it varies depending upon pitch... .5, .75,or 1.0.are 7.5mm, 7.25mm, and 7mm respectively. A trip to your local hardware store with the pickup in hand will let you know which one you have.

You may need to look around a bit, but it is there. I gave it to my luthier when he installed my 8mm Yamahiko. But at the end he used metal inserts because the threads were a bit damaged.
