Slab bodies don't have the forearm and tummy contours. They're flat on the front and back. Compare a traditional Tele and a Strat to see a good example of the difference.

ahh, i didn't even remember mine having the tummy cut and forearm contour, i thought it was a slab! thanks...now i recall the tummy cut when i think about looking at the back to change the battery...just didn't own it long enough to remember

I win! My 2nd EBMM is coming soon! God! I'm selling both of my new basses now and taking out a loan. Does anybody need work done around thier house? :D Does it still say 'Ernie ball' on it? it doesn't look like it. I personally think that EBMM should offer 2band EQ as an option just like they offer the piezo.
