Thumb bass BO with Aguilar OBP-3

Installed the preamp and all i can say is WOW!! More body, more punch, versatile. It has a mid boost but Im still thinking about drilling a new hole for it. For now it's hiding inside which I need to pop open if i need to adjust. I just need some more "go and drill". What do u guys think??

I just installed an Aguilar OBP3 in my Streamer Stage 1 and drilled the hole for the mid shift switch. It isn't a boost BTW it's a shift from 400 or 800 K EQ bump. It will possibly turn off potential buyers by doing a permanent mod like drilling a hole. For me if it's done tastefully and correctly it's worth it. I HATE push pull knobs.

If you do go for it do not use a drill use a Dremel if you can with high speed so you don't splinter the wood and shred it up. I have done it to over 5 Warwicks.

Not a switch but I added an extra knob to accommodate a different preamp..Looks good to me.

id like to put an obp-2 in my fortress. i bet id get a nice mid boost.

Aguilar makes no mid boost preamp I am aware of. If the mid switch push pulls then it's just switching it there 400 or 800

i didnt mean a boost as in there's a boost knob, just the voicing of the preamp.
