Thumbnail Router bits

Hey guys,

I've had a design for a new build floating around in my head for a while. I've always love the look of a "Carved top" but don't think this falls within my wheelhouse of skills. I've been researching a bit and came across a "Thumbnail" router bit.

Essentially it is an elongated round-over that might give the impression of a thinner body and more of a "carved feel".

Anyone tried one of these on their builds? Any thoughts on this?

At that size, I'd consider that STRICTLY a table-mounted router that can run at lower speeds bit. Please don't freehand with that thing!

Tbh... I just stubled on it randomly. Just google "Thumbnail router bits". There's some cheap "Yonico" ones on amazon that I might try out.

Absolutely... I do as much routing in the router table as I possibly can.
