The Darkglass stuff sounds a bit nu-metal to my ears.

I personally don't like fuzz, I like drive, or grit, or breaking up...a non fuzz thing but not clean the darkglass I had (B3k) was a nice fuzz pedal.

Yeah I had a valve OD which sounded like angry bees, ie not like drive, grit, melting valves, sagging output transformers ...

Best to stop messing about and get the real thing.

Backwards and upside down, so it should play just fine. But probably has strap buttons in the wrong place.
