An interesting take on the original. But HS has a haunting voice that just goes so well with many of her songs. To me, her voice sets the entire stage for the instruments, it’s not above or below the instruments in the band, it just kind of swirls around the stage and mingles with each instrument.

But you gotta admit - J Mastic's yearning delivery 'fits' the songs sentiment and his drudgy guitar works well in the song. I know this always solicits 'controversy' but part of what J Mastic (self admittedly) wanted to do w/Dinosaur Jr was to reflect Neil Young and The Meat Puppets, who they wanted to be the East Coast version of. True - do your own research!

Signing off, I've been a long time (50 yrs?) appreciator of NY for a number of reasons - so any 'NY hate' is like water on a ducks back to me, and probably wise to not escalate there. At the end of the day - everyone is free to express their opinion - and I endorse this message. :) (sue me!)

I thought I retired from bands, but I got pulled back in. I guess that proves you shouldn't sell off everything. LOL!

I have decided to sell off my 2014-ish Epi TBird IV. It was seconded for the tuners, near as I can tell, which have been replaced with Hipshot Ultralights. Also has a Tone Monster preamp, and a hardshell case that was damaged in shipping. Something poked it and put about a 2 1/2" wound in it. Doesn't extend into the interior of the case. The market is much different than it was last time I was active. What's a realistic price range for this?
I still have my other TBird. :)

I see a 2014 Pro on Reverb for $299 with free shipping. I paid $300 for a flawless 2018 IV with hard case in early 2021. I don't see any listings for a straight up 2014 IV. Those upgrades should add some additional value.

Angry Anderson with the Tatts live at Boggo Road (Gaol in Brisbane).
You’ll notice he selected overalls* for his stage wear…. After ripping the sleeves off of course.

As you all know Geordie Leach was well known for using a Gibson Thunderbird as his stage weapon of choice.

* full overalls not bib n brace

Ohh, I thought that you were sharing a video, not a picture...

LOL - I was playing the video clip at moderate volume down stairs and thinking, it’s not a bad song once you get past NYs voice (acknowledging that as much as I dislike his voice it really does add a certain feel to the song that would be missing without him). Then as the clip nears the NY spastic shredding at the end my wife yells down from upstairs, “Turn that God awful racket off”. Guess she’s not a NY fan either.
In fairness I did watch it as well. I liked the music OK. What struck me was I thought Joe Cocker was playing guitar for a minute. I didn't recall him acting like that while playing before, but I've not see a much of his live performances.
