I don’t know if that’s it, but one funny thing: many think it’s very important to keep the “Made in USA” sticker on. Willy made a bunch of copies and plastered a bass with them.

That’s a nice Farfisa. I’ve looked into buying one. The cost of ownership can get very expensive and there are only a few people left that work on them anymore. And parts are a problem unless you own a second one for parts.

A modern electronic keyboard with effects is way cheaper to own. And will do a lot more. But in a lot of ways, the Farfisa sound was sixties cool.

Gig last night(Saturday). Trusty 67 NR>Rumble 200c. Sounded great. Woulda tooken a [fuzzy] pic, but rig was in the darkest portion of the(for once)roomy stage.

I think it was the first thing I did when I bought my 4003 back in '91. Took it off I mean.

Electro Harmonix makes a coupla pedals that make a guitar sound like organs. They say they also work on keyboards but there aren't any demos. One could buy a B9 or C9 and try it, then return it if it didn't do what it claims to do.
BTW, I have one POS electric piano that I don't use, otherwise I'd do that myself. I just don't feel like tying up my limited funds for an experiment. Maybe one o' these days.

There are sound bites on these sites using a guitar, but, since it's an electronic signal that's being processed into a different signal, my electronically challenged brain doesn't see any reason it couldn't/wouldn't work with a modern keyboard.

I will at some point, but my new bandmates are a bit exuberant during rehearsal and they don't realize how expensive or fragile that bass is, so for now it stays upstairs ( Not like I don't have a bass or two to play).
I have been meaning to post a shot of the finished basement, Frank did a great job! It's a bit "sharp" right now now, but its really a nice room to make music and model trains in - potential GTG site ( and sleeping area for Jeff ) too!

Those are cool and sound good but yes - heavy. At least that version of the Magnum had a real upper-horn. The original was a neck-diver.

Those are both awesome! It helps to have a really good guitarist demo'ing it. EH makes great pedals! We use the Mel9 (mellotron) pedal for keys but it also sounds great with guitar and bass.

My friend has that and also the Syn9. Both sound great.
