Since I started using an Ampeg V4 head (input 2 modified to match V4B, and modified to run 6550’s), I got my hands on an empty V4 cab and loaded it with Eminence BP 122 12” speakers. Haven’t used it with the band yet, but looking forward to how well it will sit with the 2 guitars. I have used that head with a B40 4x10 cab I have in the other band I’m in which only has one guitarist and it sounded real good.

Yeah... first time I saw it, it looked like something out of a bad Outer Limits alternate worlds episode.
Not in my book! Besides, you could string one with SIT Stainless Rounds, one with Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats, and one with La Bella Black Tapes. Sound wise you’d never know they were the same bass.?……Is it bad to have one in all of the available colors?

The engine should be strong enough…. as long as you’re going down hill.
I think the 1.9L engine put out something around 80 horsepower.

I've always wanted one of those, I'm most likely going to throw Rotos on it and use a pick. Ron Wood on Beck-Ola inspired me. It's an early single coil Tele but essentially the same bass. I even have the Marshall Major but to get this sound I'd probably kill everybody.
I think Rod deprived the world of a great rock bass player by playing guitar, he was a monster bass player, especially listen to the end.
