Side question. I was thinking of adding a 410 to my 215 cab. There is a GK BLX 410 available locally for $75. Anyone ever played through one?

I used to have one - then I pushed it too hard playing it in live situations, it is no more. If you're going to just use it around the house it's likely going to be ok. I have to say that after quite a few years playing GK cabs that trying out and buying an SWR cab really opened my ears to the differences speakers/cabs have.

This showed up in my FB feed this morning, Custom Shop '86.

Very true about speakers/cabs. The more things I've played through, I'm about convinced speakers/cabs have more impact on tone than the amp does. At least generally speaking.

although some of my favorite bass heads, not so much a fan of their boxes…..what are you gonna drive it with? make sure you get your Ohms right if you don’t want to have to come to Hollister ….

The only thing I would try to connect two cabs to is the Sunn. The 215m and the 410 are both 8 ohms. There are two speaker outputs on the Sunn head but only one out on each cab. I wouldn't be driving them hard as it is just home practice.

I am still debating if a 70# cabinet is a good choice as it would have to be stacked given my limited space. Maybe a 210 would be a better choice?

Still need to come to Hollister some day and have you take a look at the MM Sixty Five.
