Last time I played the local Legion jam, this guy played 3 x 12 bar blues tunes in E in a rowo_O

How do you tune something like that? Is it like a harp guitar or sitar with drones? Or is every string just a note higher so you never have to deal with the landing deck of a neck? Holy cow!

It has four trussrods, and it probably took most of a tree to build. Being able to think of something like that, build it, and play it is pretty impressive.

I personally see it as visually comical (silly)... and physically heavy. Would the result justify spending the time tuning? And screaming yellow? - SHOWBIZ! :bassist:

more importantly; how do you friggin’ play it?…notice he’s plucking on top and fretting at the bottom…
