Thunderbird Club

I should have been more specific - real dollars, US dollars. I generally do things in US dollars for professional reasons. So about $27 AUD or CND.

Hmmmmmm, well that's different then...

It doesn't have that full throated thunder we all love.

It would probably benefit from flatwound strings played through a powerful and clean solid state amp. The angled tailpiece means it requires extra long strings which is annoying.

I had about nine years of piano lessons way back when. And don't play piano at all any more. Bass and guitar are completely self taught so far, but I'm more than happy to admit that I would be a whole lot better at it with some help. I started playing drums about three years ago, and started lessons right away. I figured the path to semi-competence as a person in his mid-50s was too slow by just being self-taught. Now, my brother says I'm really a drummer. Relatives sure know how to hurt a person by pointing out the obvious, don't they!

I had a really good day playing guitar once and told my mom, "I think I'm getting a little better."

Her, "Well yeah, you couldn't get any worse."

I'm pretty sure she was just kidding. She had a great sense of humor.:)

Beautiful grain. Oiling the fretboard and polishing the body.

Sounds like a bass I'd do small-band/funk gigs with. $27 eh?
