Very nice!
A rare Thunderbird, one of only 56 made by Jackson before Gibson rattled the lawsuit sabre. Is this one black? I ask because in certain light my green one looks black. It looks to be in really good shape too, new to you? This only the fourth one I've ever seen, I love mine, as bass it's Razor - the term "cutting through the mix" barely describes this bass.

I'm at work just now and notes on which page the list is on are at home, I'll add you ASAP - Thanks for posting!

To clean amd protect the wood? Yes.
Oh. My other nice basses have finished fretboards, so I didn't even think of this.

More like the Hotel Washingtonia with a smidge of the Lost Boys.
But Lost Boys was filmed in Santa Cruz, California. Watching it was basically a freshman tradition at UCSC.

I think of the bass mostly as a rhythm instrument, and I played drums first, though I was quite young. Point is though, I play bass more like a drummer- I think more that way, anyway- than a guitar or keyboard player. You'll not see a lot of chopped noodles coming out of my kitchen... but I do love a handy phrase sitting cozy in it's pocket.

Play drums then! Seems to get over, mostly!

Never studied drums/percussion but I feel this way also. I love the interplay with a good drummer, especially when they play more musically.

I would love to find one of these!! I have never even seen one in the flesh.

Since we are talking "other" basses, has anyone ever played a Gibson Bass IV from the late 1980's? The all mahogany/set neck w/ t-bird pick ups in a sort of p/j body style has me curious....

I have never had the chance to play one. I have heard them referred to as a T-Bird in P-Bass clothing by people that own them. Would love to try one someday.

A little shoutout for @wolfkeller
Was at Diesel Lounge (outside of Detroit,) this weekend and saw some propaganda..
Gonna try to check them out!
