Thunderbird Club

Hey man, if you dig the Crue you have to come out! Atleast to me see my flock of birds and I'll give ya the grand tour before the show.

Dig the Crue?

Here's a pic of me at a Halloween high school dance in 1984 or 85... Me and the Crue go way back, I'm Nikki, btw, and that's my real hair, lol.

Since we are talking "other" basses, has anyone ever played a Gibson Bass IV from the late 1980's? The all mahogany/set neck w/ t-bird pick ups in a sort of p/j body style has me curious....
Pics? Never even heard of one.

You guys appear to be owning the place alright, audio quality aside! Live is tough on a small device.
Thanks! And yeah, we were very loud. Guitarist broke two strings on the first song, but luckily was going to switch guitars for the second one, anyway.

Totally bad ass. If your coming out message me ill take care of ya.

Will do, hoping the gf doesn't have anything else for planned for us, but she's a metal fan from way back too, so she'll be down if she doesn't have prior commitments.

A couple great stories from our little high school Motley Crue tribute.
For some reason, "air band" contests were big then, so we went in 3 or 4 of them and won every one I think, we had it all choreographed and everything, lol. We actually had groupies, even got some "fan appreciation" in the parking lot one night! Lmao!
Still friends with all those guys too. The guy on the right (tommy) makes good coin in the mortgage industry, the guy on the left (Mick) is now a nuclear technician making bags of dough and my best friend since we were 10, and the blonde (Vince) owns an insurance business, after "almost making it" in a real band called Gypsy Rose that was managed by Gene Simmons.
I didn't even know him before we did this, but had interconnecting circles of friends, and from seeing him play guitar in battle of the band contests, he was the only guy we knew with long blonde hair and leather pants, lol. We offered him "the gig", and he ended up being my roommate for a decade, and to this day one of my best friends. Good times were had by all.
