I'm assuming the Greco II you mentioned and pic of is model TB-900 that is shown at top of this1977 vol 7 catalogue Greco 1977 Catalogue Vol. 7 - Vintage Japan Guitars. Wonder what 90000 Yen was in USD back then.
My AGB200 on the right. Pups could be stronger is my only complaint. Can't recall what year it is-I'm not home where I have it written down. Prolly around 2000(?). Nylon tapewounds. (Squire VM Jaguar on the left sold)
Yes, even better. Though (guessing) more $$$ than the Epis.
(My used Goth was $200 on eBay from a bloke from the ‘Gong).
If I remember correctly there was an Australian domiciled Greco on Reverb not long before Christmas.

Yes, mine is a '77, The II's are really good basses, slightly shorter scale.

…sustain is overrated…
I do incorporate sustain (coupled with my MXR Deluxe Bass Fuzz - in at 0.35) on one Bond Girl song - Skyfall. (for the verses) It's just another way to deliver a particular sound.

Looks sketch but I haven't had a problem removing silks over the zero-fret on my long-scale Custom Kraft hollow-body. Doesn't affect the sound at all as the bass sounds great.

Trivia: as essentially the ruler of Japan immediately after WWII, General McArther set the ¥ to $ conversion to 360 because there are 360 degrees in a circle. As arbitrary as that.

My ‘11, ‘13, and ‘15 in your range have no issues. I do not know where you got your knowledge from. But in my experience, it is incorrect.
