Thunderbird Club

Or hangers with basses in them.

Eh, I'm kind of a minimalist, we do have art in the house though. I think Frank and I are going to build a bar in this room - to the right side of this pic, in 2-3 years, so we'll have some nice shelves with booze on the wall.
Excellent! Another reason to come visit more than once! Dave and George have nice setups. We had one in our first house. But we moved, had kids we didn’t want to drink in front of, etc., so my plan for the bar got axed.

Given it's rarity, I think I might list it on ebay for $4,321.
Sounds great with flats, BTW.
Flats smats. They are listing at over 1k now. Go for it. List it as owned and played by famous basste Donnie ___?___. What have you got to lose?

I'll let you know in 2 weeks how the Anchor Porter turns out. Straight out of the fermenter, it was pretty smooth.
If it’s a go, I’m there. We need to check Geo and Richard’s gig calendars. And Chucky’s. I actually have an amp issue that just surfaced I'd like Chucky to check.

I like that!

But respectfully suggest that Dundee would be more likely to think of the Aussie Val.

Fun note, in one of the Ozploitation flicks Alvin Purple, the lead character drove a Valiant Charger.

plus for trivia buffs: future Oscar, Emmy and Tony Awards winner Geoffrey Rush was cast in an early 70s Valiant Charger TV ad, driving a Charger.

Did you write/compose this tune and are you doing the male Blues vocal? Nice production!

Willie Dixon & KoKo Taylor from 1966, later done by The Detroit Cobras. We leaned more toward the original soulful feel/delivery but rock it like the Cobras version. Yes, Robs post-production really supercharged it. We were all sorta' blasé hearing the schools tracks (it was recorded in their recently upgraded pro recording studio by students) but I had a feeling it could sound better. I mean, the performance was good - it just needed a pro like Robert to dial it in.

Oh, and that's our Paul on vocals - we all were smilin' in the sound booth when he delivered that take! Kirstin's co-lead wasn't too shabby either! :)

Here's another from that session - an instrumental by Czech surf/lounge band The Bambi Molesters - Point Break... it needs a bit of tweaking, but it's mostly there.

I like The Detroit Cobras. They were a fun band.
