Thunderbird Club

Polishing day. Not a deep mirror but not bad for all water based.

Not helping the marital situation.:smug: I guess I could suggest to to her that it's cheaper than collecting women.....

I thought so. Especially since it was one made in the UK. It is very tempting. Just no legit way to justify it. (To anyone not a player.)
Just show this to your wife...it makes guitar/bass collecting look very cheap!

I’m with Marshall, you’d greatly benefit from an HPF/LPF
When I focused on using the Genzler, I turned the dry signal way down so I was getting almost only the overdriven signal which has both HPF and LPF on it. It did make a difference, but not enough for me. Possibly a dedicated filter would do better, but what is on the Genzler is really nice and seems to work really well. Fortunately the Ashdown seems to be doing the trick. I'll know a little more after tomorrow.

You’ll clearly hear a big difference with a dedicated filter.
The way it functions on the Genzler is way different.

Reminds me of how I used to set the act when I was running around with it. Mids were cranked way up cuz it was always pretty scoopy sounding to me.

What kind of tone do you find that you like?
