Thunderbird Club

I kinda did, not too hard for me at this point, as it turns out I've had a sinus infection for the past 5 1/2 months, no stamina whatsoever. I get operated on
tomorrow - going to be a quiet week at home recovering.
Best wishes to you V.

I went through a Caldwell-Luc procedure years ago. You’ll feel a lot better in a few days.

It's part of a 3 hour montage that Ginger put together for us to use at venues that have projection, the image is not new as far as I know.
The availability of that image was Inspired by They Live no doubt. The doc uses similar imagery.

Speaking of tremolo...
I loaned my friends Boss TR2 and put it in the drive channel of the Line Selector or in this case the bridge pickup channel. The tremolo effect is more subtle but at the same time it has a bit of a Uni-Vibe or phaser -kind of feel as the treble changes in volume but the bass stays the same.

I have the Uni-vibe and BOSS Tr2. They are both cool but I use the BOSS in my pedal train. The Tr2 seems to have mellowed over time and I've had to turn up the rate & depth to bring it in more. I'd have to do an A/B test with a new one to see if it's just me or the pedal.

Sinus infection for half a year? Wow! That's awful.

That can definitely happen in tube circuits as the caps and resistors age with heat. I wouldn't expect the component values to drift that much in SS circuits. @Chucky Stiletti ?

The 70's...
I chanced upon this song as I found out the bassist on it is Didier Batard who played with people like Richard Pinhas & Heldon, Jean-Philippe Goude and Patrick Gauthier for example (experimental French prog/electronic people much to my liking) but did also a lot sessions for pop artists and was part of a backing band for the artist Christophe. The version with vocals was apparently a huge hit but this vocalless version leaves even more room for Didier's bass part which doesn't seem too different from the stuff he played with the prog people, playing- or soundwise. At least in one video he is miming with a white fretless Travis-Bean TB2000 bass.

They were searched by customs in NY.
Of course i didn’t know till I got them in Munich, opened, re-taped, notice inside saying, package was inspected.
No harm, no foul.
I keep those tags and have taped them to the inside of my big case. That resulted in a very amused look from a Mexican customs official. She saw those tags taped to the inside of the lid, started laughing, and then did a cursory search. We got pulled aside randomly. When she saw all the tags, I suppose she decided that we traveled enough to know what we were doing and wouldn't be carrying anything problematic. She was right, if that's what she thought. I haven't gotten one of those TSA tags for a while.
