Thunderbird Club

I see you’re following your plan to take over the room, albeit slowly. Add a bass every few weeks. Then another amp. By May, you should have it appropriately turned into your bass room.
Unfortunately, next week will be a set back. My daughter, the shrink, is coming to babysit the dogs while I’m in Kauai. That’s the room she wants to stay in…I’ve been instructed to move out :rollno:

I'd say leaving a conveniently placed Thunderbird, limited edition no less, for her to admire and maybe even practice on is just good hospitality.

I always played union rules. League has similarities, but is a bit closer to futbal americano. It was a whole lot of fun to play. League looks like it's more of a spectator sport than union rules. Rucks and set scrums aren't as free flowing.
That’s pretty much correct in how RL evolved from RU.
Evidently in the 1950s Canadian Football was very close to RL before the family tree split off again.

Hey Jeff, is that a frangipani I spy?

Your daily dose of Kelpie...at least what happens on a rainy day.

None more Black. Here's some more pictures! This bass reminds me why I love the Vintage Pro Thunderbird! After a quick set up the bass plays great, fret work is excellent. The Laurel wood fingerboard is the darkest I've seen, it's beautiful and the faux MOP dots really shimmer. The bass weighs in at 8.11 lbs. making it feel right. Really glad I snagged this demo. Video to follow.

Pretty. What's the story on the pickguard?

The original (I still have it) has a huge, ugly scuff across the face of it, and while that wasn't objectionable when I first got the bass because it was a total Road Warrior, after I had it refinned it needed something else. I made this one from Sheet styrene that I primed, and then airbrushed metallic purple, masked off the Bird then shot white, plus lots of gloss coat. It's held up really well.

Nice work, it came out looking great!
