Thunderbird Club

Is the string type/brand that came stock on 60's Birds common knowledge?..
I don’t think so. I need to look and see if Rob mentions it in the book. I can’t get to the book right now.

Total guess would be VC Squier who supplied Fender before Fender bought them. I understand they were pretty big. GHS was started by guys from Squier in ‘64.
Did something happen with Geo while I was in Hawaii? I haven't seen him around this forum in weeks. Hope he didn't disappear like Pillo and Willy.
He’s around. Just hasn’t checked in for some time. Not sure why.

Not white, but since it’s Wednesday.
I only have of these things called Thunderbirds.
But it sure covers a lot of territory.

I wish there was a way to remove the mutes without destroying something in original condition. Any thoughts? Just remove the felt? Or get a Bad Bird and keep the original bridge intact.

Just take the felts off, put them in the case. Leave the copper portion on it and put the bridge cover in place to protect your right hand from the sharp edge of the copper.

Marshall looking like he wants to grab and run...don't think he was a gimp at that GTG?

No, but I think I see a beer in each of his hands, so the gear is likely safe!
