Contemplating more colors. The wife frowns at some form of white and gold. But does like this. I love green, just not a Gibson color from that time, but given the '66s history I'm free to go anywhere.

Very interested to see if it will play well with nitro clear.

Samples (scraps) are glued up to a piece of basswood, waiting for the nitro lacquer clear delivery.

EbWalnut and fibreboard glued with titebond, acrylic and phenolic with CA.

I used to have the Epi version of that Fire bird, it was just the right shade of red to go with the gold - do it!

Anyone of the bass modding folks in this group ever move a Precision bass, split pickup into the Jazz bass/Thunderbird neck pick up position? What was the end result, if you did?
