Thunderbird Club

If you know pianos, you know.

Wow. Pre Yamaha I assume? They’re rare here in the states. But wow.

It’s from 1936, almost beyond price, it and a Steinway Grand and the Organ came with the house!

Whose house?

As a guy who as a kid played piano for years, I’m fascinated. My guitar player buddy’s sister bought a new Steinway in ‘74 for 10k. Imagine what it’s worth now. That Austrian gem is priceless.

I will be getting back into piano once I’m sorted on bass and guitar. Now that I’m concentrating on reading bass notation, I’m shocked that it’s coming back faster than I ever hoped. It’s been fits and starts until now that I’m retired.

Retirement is highly recommended. Just sayin’.

Was on Grandfather duty with a sick grandson the other day. Found an unexpected Thunderbird sighting!

Tsehay on bass. I know she isn’t playing it in the clip, but I think (correct me if wrong) that she looks like she might be able to play bass if needed.
She has had a bit of a life, Australians adopted her from Eithiopea as a baby, grew up in a small town about 1/2 hr south of where I am. Has been a Champion in Salsa Dance, joined the Wiggles at age 16 (19 now) and plays a few instruments I think.
