Both great. Slightly different flavors. Tbird+ is ceramic with a “modern” tone, whatever that is supposed to mean. The reissues have Alnico V’s like the sixties had and the seventies Sidewinders had. I love and play them all. I’m a humbucker tone addict. Different flavors for different somgs. But all have “that sound” at their core.
Actually she would if there was more time to plan. But she’s working Boston to L.A. redeye to arrive Thursday AM. And she’s working the L.A. to Boston AM flight Monday. It would just be too much. For both of us as I will be her driver. Had I been on top of things, I could have had her schedule a SFO to Boston run.

Retiring is not about having less to do - it allows the time/energy to do the things that needs doing in daily life w/o having to compromise it doing the J-O-B.

What pickup is in it?Kind of like the Epi Embassy that was going to be the donor bass that ended up being too nice in every way to gut.
This Pbass is odd and curious. I'm thinking I might install a Koreabucker tomorrow, but.... I know it will have to sound even better. Won't it?The vol is really low with the current stat pup. Kind if neat having two pup sounds with the push/pull. But I really want a Thunderbird pup in it. First world problems.
