Here is the shorter of the 2 clips I had posted a while back but some people couldn't see them. I might do the longer 15 minute one later when I am at a WiFi hotspot, provided long clips are allowed on this account.

More goth pr0n, from July 14th show in riverside, wish we had more footage of this show. There are a bunch of 60 second clips that someone shot that were great, but I couldn't get ahold of him before he deleted them off his phone after uploading to Instagramand I don't use instagram, and my guitar player couldn't download them, we were going to use them for a promo, maybe someday we can figure out how to get them off there, but I'm sure the quality was compressed anyway, just like this one which looked much better on my ex girlfriend's phone, but after I snaked it from.Facebook it was lower resolution.
Will share a few more now that I am reminded I made a new YouTube account that works from my phone. Not sure I.have the password to my old account anyway...
Do I have to get a ticket to Sydney, or are you headed to Seattle?Didn't have a photo of yours to hand. That would be fun -- getting a bunch of different mods together in a room.
First off thank you @Dadagoboi for the knowledgeable input, sincerely appreciated.Like @Dadagoboi said might work but it might be fixing a problem the wrong way. It could be the nut is too low, if that's the case and you lower your frets until it stops buzzing, you're unnecessarily reducing the life of your frets.
Could it possibly be more '80's..?![]()
... Could-Have-Bought-A-New-One range... Yeah, I know...![]()
I can't even tell you how many times I have been down that path or in how many new and creative ways to spend way too much money to accomplish not much. I kept a 1973 Chevy van alive for many years past its obvious expiration date, for example. It's just standard operating procedure for some of us.Context?I heard Geddy Lee in a radio interview recently say exactly the same thing Dave said. "there are no more talent scouts"

I meant to the discussion here, I'm thinking I missed something on the thread. Or was it just random?American Idol and today's young talent
Thanks. We match the body shapes if not the color.Sounds great! Nice Iceman, too. Haven't seen one of those in quite a while.
This seems like a familiar scenario...First off thank you @Dadagoboi for the knowledgeable input, sincerely appreciated.
Shortly after purchasing this bass I had the nut replaced and the setup done by the same shop that later told me it would need a full fret job to fix this one buzz. When I got it back after the nut replacement it didn't buzz - HOWEVER the action was high and the bridge was set WAY high in the rear with the front very low (was told that was what he had done to get rid of the buzz), exactly opposite what I've read here about how a 3-point should be set up. I redid the setup myself to get the bridge proper and the action low where I like it, the one buzz came back. Talked to the guy about it, he didn't agree with what I'd stated about how a 3-point should be set up which seems a bit of a red flag to me, guess this is part of the reason I wanted to call BS on the fret job. Now to his credit he's set up 2 other basses for me and they were spot on. Just seems weird that he went so far off script on the 3-point bridge setup.
Guess I'll be getting a fret job on it soon... The bass is definitely worth the investment, cheap bastard that I am just hate to sink another $100 in a (originally) $225 investment (which with a $100 case and the $120 i spent on the nut replacement and the first time setup is now up to Could-Have-Bought-A-New-One range). Yeah, I know...![]()
Not random. Wrong thread! My badI meant to the discussion here, I'm thinking I missed something on the thread. Or was it just random?
Huh, my band is based out of West Milford and I live in the town next door to it, if I were a 5 string guy, I would check it out...that damn B string was nothing more than a place to rest my thumb...tried 5 stringers several times, no dice!Just came across this 5-string Thunderbird, in case anyone's interested.
