Hi guys, I made bass shootout so you can here all 3 basses in a mix (Pbass, Patriot, Tbird). Song is ''She Sells Sanctuary). You tell me what you think which one is better?

The 'Bird!!!!!! The Patriot has an interesting sound, somewhere between the P and 'Bird. The P... Well, it's a P. Inoffensive, but no balls! LOL

Nah... if I wanted a Heritage Cherry, this is the one I'd buy.

If Citizen Zero breaks out and they are having a lot of regional success, having Sam Collins sign that PG would be cool in addition to owning that bass.

I really should buy Collins' bass.

.... I come back home to the Bird sanctuary and read about wheels, dirt, tranny, swallows, engine sizes, getting fluids changed etc. I burst out laughing and wonder what visitors to our club must be thinking. It takes a unique breed of individual to belong to the Thunderbird community.

Yeah, well as someone who has recently wandered in here and pondered what might be a stereotype of the "average" Thunderbird owner.... me thinks this club might be well served by having a psychiatrist on call!

I don't think A(!) psychiatrist could handle us, maybe 10 of them. But none of us are willing to pay for them because we live by n+1.... if any of us had that kinda spare spare change, it would go right into getting more Thunderbirds

Nice!!!!!!, I prefer The Bird. Has a richness to the tone that the other two don't have, it's the unmistakable Bird tone.

I tottaly agree, TBird presence and note focus is beautiful.

With my bluetooth headphones, I couldn't hear any difference. Nice playing!

In the mix is hard to here differences but they exist.

Patriot is indeed combination between those two, I mus say I played it on bridge pickup because originally it’s with only obe pickup.

He just seems to throw stuff up way overpriced. I wonder how often he actually sells anything. And his grammar sucks.

Original Factory finish in Cardinal Red! Overall VG+ condition has some nicks & dings. Has finish checking. I black lighted the bass that proved it was for sure a 26 year old finish but I also found refinish on top of neck bottom of headstock. Which means there is repair of some sort. Whomever did it did a great job. The human eye cannot see it without the blacklight. You can't see any break with the black light just the refinished paint which is a perfect match in plain light. I attach the best photo I could get with a blacklight. The repair is rock solid.

That's been on Reverb for a long time. He bought it for a lot more IIRC

Well I havent heard us being refered to an insane asylum yet but Im sure glad @TBird1958 admitted me, dont know if we have a shrink but we have a doctor. His name is Dr Feelgood.
