The Vintage Pro will not have the same P/UPs as the Classic Pro so the verdict is still out as to whether it'll sound as good as the Classic Pro. So far, I'm assuming that most would favor the looks of the Vintage Pro so if the sound isn't to one's liking then a P/UP swap would be needed. That would probably be close to the price of chroming a Classic Pro.

I thought that Americans didn't have foreigners (except the band); Americans have aliens.

Not certain I've heard of that distinction. My parents and in-laws including my wife are all immigrants and I would consider them foreigners not aliens, legal or otherwise.

After weeks of scouting eBay and google for a decent deal on a SuperTone bridge, today after a 30 minute drive and a spend of £89, ta-dah!

We only use the word "alien" when referring to someone who has entered the country ILLEGALLY. No politics, I know, but for Petes sake we are a country of immigrants.

Sad news to report: Malcolm Young has passed away this morning at 64.

My son, a huge jazz snob, considers Mr Young very underrated as a songwriter, insisting it was his sense of rhythm that gave AC/DC that great groove they rode to stardom. Man! I love that kid.

That hasn't been my experience with the INS. As an example, a "green card" is a resident alien card according to the INS. And if memory serves, my H1-B visa also mentioned me being an alien.

I'm contemplating two - a black one for the white `bird and a chrome one for the Gibson Midtown. If When it all works well I will look at a nickel one for the JC.

I banged up my right index finger a couple of days ago. Notwithstanding I've had the Birds out for a twirl. They sound so good through the Traynor.

It must be said at this point that the NR41KB is hands down the most comfortable bass I have ever played -- it nearly plays itself.

Been curious about a comment or two there. Nice.

Even tho I have never been much of an AC/DC fan I can appreciate Malcolm Young and what he did for that band. I would agree with the underrated comment for sure. RIP Mr. Young.
