I have no recollection(or receipt).It was a little 2nd floor space straight across from Manny's entrance' The only reason we(the guitarist and I)went there is that the guys at Manny's recommended the luthier in there to do an adjustment on the guitarist's L5. I had gone to Manny's looking for a TBird but they only had one that looked a helluva lot worse than mine does now. When we went in the shop,they had 2'Birds-one blue and the other one which became mine for $250 w/ OHSC:jawdrop::wideyed:At which point I promptly bought it:D:hyper::):thumbsup:

I wonder if it was the place next to Rudy's. The tech's were a father/son operation. Old school Italians. They were awesome and the place to go at the time for any luthier work.

I think that's it. I remember they had a bigass window overlooking the street and that the older guy had a REALLY thick accent. Real nice people.:)

I took a gig w/ a band outta Miami mostly to go to Manny's and get a Thunderbird. The band was all Hispanic 'cept the sax man and me. We played at the Puerto Rican Theater at 138th(?)and Brooke. I had called Manny's about 10 days b4 we went up to see if they had any 'Birds and the guy I talked to said they had maybe 25 or so-reverse,non-reverse,1pup,2pups,etc.When I went in they only had that one I mentioned. I asked what happened to all the TBirds? the guy says Oh,Entwhistle came in and bought 20! :jawdrop:I was pretty disheartened 'til I got across the street and found what became mine. So, even though I was ticked at the time,Thanks,Ox!:)

I would love to have a guitar like that. I would love to be able to play guitar well enough to deserve a guitar like that. But, it will never happen. That's fine, really, since I'm not much of a guitarist.
