You can't get new plates over there?
Yes we get new plates on new cars but we can keep old ones and sell or transfer them as we change cars so we can have plate with names/initials and other crap on them. My wife and I have our initials on ours, thankfully my new name uses the same initials so it's all OK there

Mine's rusted shut.:(

Proper planning?;)

With plates like that - Why would you?! :)
I had a personal plate w/ an old nickname:F L I C K. I was asked how I got that. The person asking was looking at it at angle that made 2 of the letters run together..............:smug: I did NOT do that intentionally but it kinda worked out.:)

On the subject of plates, our old bus had the letters KUK in it, I'm sure @hillerup will agree has a meaning in the Scandinavian countries all of it's own. Well we sold that but to a guy from Norway, he came over special to buy it. He needed to arrange insurance so he called his insurance company in Norway to get it sorted, when it came to the bit where he had to pass on the licence plate number the gut shouted hold it there, let me put this on speaker phone then asked the guy to repeat the number. He did and all we could hear was the entire office in Norway screaming with laughter for about a good five minutes. So now the young lad is driving around Norway with the equivalent of the word "pr1ck" on the front of his bus :roflmao:

I wish I had- it was in 1970-72. I didn't think to keep the plate when I sold the van:(
From straight on there was no problem and I hadn't noticed 'til it was pointed out to me. It was a little embarrassing since we were playing at a middle school. Again, considering the time frame and that we were a Christian band!
