Personally, i really like them. So much so, i'm leaving the tone control in the bass. Seems to be very effective with those pick ups.

These are both pretty good recordings of my single pickup Lull, II don't happen to have any of my retro fitted Gibson though. Personally, in comparing them to say, my Epi VP I find them a bit fuller, and more balanced sounding, but that is a purely subjective judgement on my part - my ears, my bass, my rig

Have to admit I skipped the intro on"Hungry..." in an attempt to avoid recurrence of the earworm. This clearly illustrates one of the reasons I love the 'Bird(pup difference notwithstanding). Totally different sound pick vs fingers. Punchy vs mellow-ish.

There were close links at the beginning of the “modern struggle” in Northern Ireland with Welsh organisations such as the FWA And MAC (Mudiad Amddiffryn Cymru), the later we’re used as a model for the IRAs organisational structure when they first became the militant entity we all know.
There were many miscarriages of justice for those involved and I suspect knowing too.

Struggling? Looked very relaxed and sounded pretty good to me.

Been there... Didn't take long before it got derailed and started going downhill with the usualy urban myths about Thunderbirds being big, heavy, neck-diving and generally sounding muddy...
