I once took a screenshot of my bosses desktop, then flipped the image upside down and set it as his desktop background. Then I hide his taskbar and flipped the screen upside downIt does at GMNA that's for sure.

Well the new Vintage pro arrived yesterday while I was at work, so naturally the day at work seemed like a week.
Anyway I finally got home to be greeted with this humongous cardboard box. I opened it, made my way through shedloads of packing to locate the inner box which contained what I thought was soon to be my new pride & joy, sadly after unboxing it I noticed chipping in the paintwork right on the top corner edge of the forward bought. The worst thing is... the damage is below the lacquer. Does anyone know if the lacquering is an automated process? If not, how did they not notice it? Anyway it's going back and I'm going for the Ebony this time.

I'm openly prejudice against two things. Ignorance, and superiority complexes (that's as close to "political" as you'll see me get here).
If your bass is gonna have dings, you wanna put 'em there yourself and have a story to go with.
I would imagine the spraying is done manually but even if not the buffing would be and it should of been picked up at some stage before the top coats went on over the burst. I suppose when things are made to a price like that things will go through unnoticed even when they shouldn't, the pressure on the shop floor to get things through must be quite high.

There are 2 50th Anniversary 'Birds on ebay. One in NY,one in Utah.
It occurs to me... we've had a number of reports of VPs arriving with donks/dings/chips in the finish. I'm wondering about rough handling & cardboard boxes...
The dings were under the topcoat so probably not shipping but sending in those boxes is a bit of a lottery. Given that you can buy a bass case for about £30 you'd think they might include one
30 to 35 days it said on the order, then add a month to make a couple of basses to hold them.
I still can't decide between LP or Tbird
NS4 with wenge neck is awesome.
I also recognize a Warwick Infinity, very good bass too (I'm a fan of WW)
I know and possibly more saleable too and of course I'm wetting my knickers wanting one
But I want a red Tbird too
