Thunderfunk? Is that a brand?

It is. Was, to be more exact. If I recall, the Thunderfunk design started out as a Gibson amp. Gibson 440 or something like that. Then Gibson decided to discontinue it, and Thunderfunk picked up where they left off. I might have that history pretty well garbled.

My last job was systems administrator at a large furniture factory, I had a young assistant who refused to have an autolock on his desktop which left an obvious security risk in the factory as the IT office was accessible from the shop floor. So when he had gone home one evening I opened IE on his PC and set the home page to a Google images search on free porn. He started work earlier than me to make sure everything was working with the factory servers/network so production wasn't held up. Anyway the very next morning when I walked into the office he had a look on his face that said he'd had his arse kicked. Turned out that a young girl who helped with the photo sets needed something from the internet and had gone to the boss (who was a horrible autocratic Tw@t if you'll excuse the language), he took her to see my young assistant who obligingly opened IE to reveal the new home page to the boss and the young girl He locked his PC after that

would have gotten canned over here..

Gibson Files for Bankruptcy With Deal to Renew Guitar Business

The change in control will give noteholders equity in a new company, replacing current stockholders such as Chief Executive Officer Henry Juszkiewicz. According to court filings, current noteholders include Silver Point Capital, Melody Capital Partners LP, and funds affiliated with KKR Credit Advisors. The restructuring will also allow the instrument business to "unburden" itself of a consumer-electronics unit that Gibson blamed for its financial woes.

The Thunderfunk is getting harder to find. There have been a couple that have popped up here, but they go fast.

This could be a good thing for guitar lovers. If Gibson gets some good leadership at the top and refocuses on what they do best, making great instruments at a fair price, they could come back to prominence. In my opinion, for the last several years they’ve gotten way off track by making guitars no one wants and pricing them beyond what they’re worth. It’s almost like they’ve lost their minds, and it seems to be the product of the top brass being out of touch with their customers. Not to mention their complete lack of quality control, which a lot of rumors suggest is due to their employees just not taking pride in their work, which is understandable considering how they’re treated. Bye Henry, I hope the next CEO shows the world how horrible you were and how great our beloved Gibson can be.

Nice looking birds, I've never seen a Spector in the flesh or such a good photo. The detailing looks spectacular, the neck body join looks beautifully made, care and attention gone into that. The gold hardware looks uber cool

Question, are the bridges the same? What are the pups on the bottom one?

Spector makes some great neck through instruments. I have several along with my Gibson T-Bird. NS2 and NS4 have curved body designs. USA models are top quality construction (only about 20 or so made a month small shop in Woodstock NY), the Czech made Euros are also quite nice quality, in fact USA Necks are shipped there for use in all construction (maybe about 3 to 4 times as many made a month), the Korean imports pretty nice quality and a real bargain price per advantages and are built under strict specs from USA Spector (maybe 120 or so made a month).

Where I work, GMNA, that's an immediate firing. Walked out after the discovery interview, no question about it. Your personal belongings would be boxed up for you and left for you to pick up from the lobby the following day.

We had a guy fired for looking at bikini clad buxom women after he failed to heed the warning he was given the first time. These weren't even nudes mind you. Bikini calendar type pics. The dummy didn't listen, lost his job. The most recent firing was this guy that texted the "n" word to a coworker... the coworker, a white guy, was offended at the language and rightfully so. He chose to go to HR with it. The texter was walked out within minutes of the discovery. I wouldn't have gone to HR but I'd have warned that dummy not to text me anything like that again. There is zero tolerance for anything that can be seen as sexual in nature, non-diversity and inclusive or racially insensitive.
