Thunderbird Club

All this talk about speakers and amps...

Anyone have any experience with this Marshall rig?

Looks nice but information is sparse...

I have been curious about these but never had the chance to try one. Pretty sure they were hybrid heads with a tube or 2 in the preamp. For some reason I am thinking that Scott (GOT) had one briefly? Might be confusing him with someone else.

So as promised, some pix of my Bird build. It started life as a Epi Goth T-bird I bought used for $200. I took off everything sanded the body & filled holes from the pickguard. Hand my old drummer (who has a side biz of painting guitars) paint it artic white. Neck is a lefty Mighty Mite P neck. I painted the headstock black. I dig my Spector tone so I ordered EMG active pups (2Ps) and put in a Spector Tonepump pre. I had Mike lull do the final assemble and set-up. I have only played it for about 5 minutes, but so far I really dig it. The only thing left to install are the fret marker decals I bought from creative cuts. The bass is nicknamed "Stormtrooper" so what else, Stormtrooper helmets from Star Wars......:bassist:

Really nice transformation!

Had to make some guitar hanger room in our music room for a later jam session with some friends so I brought my Epiphones upstairs to get them out of the way for the rest of the day.
