Thunderbird Club

The Colorado is made by Isuzu.

Not this gen. At least here.
The ones sent here come from a GM factory, in Thailand. Most trucks in that category, including D-Max, Ranger, BT50 etc are built in Thailand.
Free trade agreement and Thailand seem to have specialised in these products.

Speaking of cars, I'll just leave this here....

BnB

Yeah, I prefer the Firebird of the twins most times. Gone of course, like Australian built Holden’s.

Supposedly equivalent models - GT vs 2SS. We don’t have any experience with 2SS as a model so taking the press intro story saying they are.
I’m guessing the Camaro will have extra do-dads to try to justify the price. May as well when you are taking the $ hit of converting locally.

LT1 6.2lt engine, 8sp auto only no manual, 4 drive modes, 20” Wheels, Brembo brakes.
First batch 550 cars, they hold 200 orders.

It seems they are holding the price down a bit in comparison to the Silverado mark up. Article says the 2SS is US $41,995 (AUD $59k).

It seems the New York Times likes a couple of places I frequent.
I had lunch at Smarty Pants today, then went to the train shop. I often go to the Tin Theater/Room as Veronica

Given that the Traynor and the Ampeg are about the same price, I think that I would get the Ampeg over the Traynor. Even though I had a long discussion with the guitar dept manager about the two (and others) and he pointed out that they rent the Traynor to acts for touring - they get abused and come back in fine working order. As an aside - I find it interesting that the voicing of the PF-20 and the PF-50 is very different.

Mesa stuff is nice, but far more spendy than I want right now (possibly ever).

I don't want to annoy the neighbours. But I like having the option to annoy the neighbours.

I have read some of the KbD threads on using guitar heads. There is some useful nuggets in there but out in the GP, there are too many that weigh in with ill-informed opinions (you'll break the amp, it won't have enough bass etc.). The big limitation is that many guitar heads will only go to 8 ohms and I need 4.

The guitar dept manager thinks that Markbass could be a great choice and needs to in the set being considered. I respect his opinions - he listens to parameters and gives well thought out suggestions. He pointed me to the Vox MV-50 AC and that does have a great tone.

So, on the agenda to try today - Markbass, Ampeg PF-350, ?

The PF-50T is kinda like a mini V4B. The 20 doesn't come close in tone, albeit good. Stay away from the 350.
Know nothing about MarkBass at all.

I'm usually of not any help.

Back on the rails.

No personal experience but I have seen others saying the same. The PF-50T is (sounds like) a smaller V4B.

The voicing is slightly different, mainly where the bass frequency is centered. PF-50 @ 60Hz, V4B @ 40Hz.
Having a cab that'll go to 40 and below might make a difference as well.
Depending on how you use that of course.

I have a PF-350 and a PF-50T. I like the 50 more, but the 350 fits in a laptop bag.

speaking of trains, is that steam engine graveyard in Snoqualmie still there?..

Yep!
The Museum of Flight is a better place for a visit though, besides you can see the BNSF and the UP mainlines just across Boeing Field.
