Thunderbird Club

I never had long hair. I don't imagine I would miss it if I had. Seems like a lot of trouble caring for it. Having been a bit of a gym rat most of my life, it would be a challenge to look after.
Same here. I thought about shaving my head off and on. My wife doesnt like the idea. She is the only person I (sometimes) listen to. No shaved head. I would a whole lot rather be around this crew of oddities than a whole lot of other subspieces of human. No offense to anyone else, since all they have to do is be chosen by a 'Bird to be one of us too.

Already a member of the club, but I just got another Epi Pro IV. Rocking the stage with it last week!

Firs time show with my new band. That fella’ on drums is my son. His first show ever. Quite a magical night for his first show and to be onstage with him for it. Glad to say he killed it and everyone with compliments congregated around him as the standout of the show!

That is way too great for words! Being on stage with your son is a true blessing.

Yeah. The opposite's true, too. I played for about 3 years in a big band with my dad.<Addendum>this was 2000-2003, using my '67 NR 'Bird. Nobody said a thing about my bass.

Always had long hair. Can be troublesome.... been that way since I shaved my head at 10 so I know no other way. I figure some of us only have hair for so many years....enjoy it while you got it. I think I will enjoy having no hair once I get there though... I will rock the Skullet for a little while before finally cutting it. Hope I can let go before it turns into something truly weak.

Even better you can A/B it.

Wont be a/b - just purely testing the ampeg. I know how mine sound xp
If all is right with it, I doubt you won’t like it.

No doubt on that, its more a question do i really need this amp because ive already got 3 heads :) (two peaveys & the gk 400rb).

Cool!

Cool. I met Chris Steffler from Platinum Blonde. Favourite of my dads... I started listening to them after hearing crystals castles cover of not in love with Robert smith from the cure. I wanted to learn how to play it and found out there was an amazing band behind the cover...all their songs rocked. Serge was a pretty interesting guitarist. Great Canadian band.

There's a 1975 Ampeg v4b for low price in my neck of the woods. Debating if i should bite that bullet. It'd be the only tube head i'd own, but also wondering if it's worth it since i got my solid states that do a great job. I know it's Tube vs solid, there's a charm/character to tube....
V4Bs are great amps, buy it! Sound better than SVTs imho. If you don't want it pm me the info!

You’re talking to a person with an ACC 371, Ampeg B18, and a Mesa Strategy w/410, along with a combo Marshall... I say get it!!!!!!!

I would've, had've i enough space at home to store it.

I'm with the kid on this, although, he's no kid. Just a rotten goat.

Beh

Does sound better than an SVT (although its pretty much the same circuit just less fills on the V4B). I'll pm you the info but you gotta hurry to snatch it, might be gone fast.
