Thunderbird Club

Finally mixed and mastered! We laid these down at the end of July, finally finished last week. My parts have been done for months. LOL! The TB IV with the Tone Monster preamp was used on both of these new ones. On FTN it was the direct out on my SVT3-Pro, on 23 it was direct into the interface and into...Cakewalk, I think...I don't remember. Too long ago.:

Take it outside on a sunny or partly sunny day. Better light, ezpecially early morning or late afternoon. Never in the middlebof the day.

Don't forget to add a Subaru :roflmao:

Aw, that made me miss my Sube.

I thought about it a lot after I bought the new green Subie, I just couldn't let the old blue '99 go. The idea of some dingaling goofing around with and wrecking it was just more than I could bear.
She sleeps very comfy in the garage, sharing it with the model railroad I'm slowly building, I get her out once a week to drive around doing errands, at 250K miles the car is too sweet to let go. :D

She is good for at least another 100k

Geez, does this mean I need to swap my van for a Subaru?

Ummmmm...............Yes!

Seattle has a much higher per capita Subaru ownership than the national average, 1 in 10 cars. Nationally 1 in 35.

I guess I'll be shopping for a tobacco burst Subaru station wagon when I get back in town, then. A tobacco burst car is probably a used car from the upper midwest somewhere.

I'm in the Amish part of Pennsylvania for the time being, and Guitar Center is the place I can find to get a fingers on some strings fix. The one here has a really nice 2013 Thunderbird for about $1100. I won't be buying it, but it's great they have one I can pull off the wall and play for a while. I'm amazed at how light it is. It must be a couple pounds lighter than the 1991. It seems to balance well, too. Seems - because without a strap it is hard to tell. Anyway, it is there if anybody is looking for a used one that seems like a good one.

Ok, this is kinda odd....

The Epiphones T-Bird Pro-V's have been discontinued for quite a while, and long gone in retail and online stores.

But today, all of a sudden, all three color variants are available through the Thomann website - They even have a "returned" one in Trans Black!

Must be some NOS they just got in from God knows where...

So if any of you guys missed getting one in the first place, you better get one now while they're still in stock! ;)

Yeah saw them 2 weeks ago, they even had a non returned black one. Won't buy it, though. Need that cherry red Gibson first.

Shiny, not shiny, and pimp

Ordered a shiny one. It won't perfectly match the rest of my bird but it will benefit the sound/set up. This bass is a player anyway. I like the 3 point but I need more adjustment and want a more solid design.

I blame the good people of this Thunderbird club for this GAS attack:

I'm possibly the worst picture taker of all time, and my crappy tablet doesn't help! Anyway, my local GC had this beauty on the wall for the closeout sale and I couldn't resist.

I made an earlier post inquiring about the sound of these 2015 models. To tell you the truth, with the coil taps off, it sounds pretty much just like my 2013 T-bird. The new Babicz bridge is awesome and I'm very pleased overall.

Congrats. I've barely been able to put mine down since getting it last Saturday.

It's very sexy - Trust me!
Play that beautiful 'Bird! I'll find the list and add you. Congratulations!
