I didn't give the guitarist we're trying out this weekend many instructions, other than to bring humbuckers if she can, and a delay and a gnarly dirt pedal would be nice.

She has a Digitech Obscura delay, which seems pretty rad, and an EHX Green Russian reissue, which also seems pretty cool.

Fingers crossed this one works out.

For all you delay geeks ... the Obscura does backwards -- should allow for plenty of weirdness. Wish more people would demo delays with dirt.

The best sushi in SF is in Marin County - Sushi Ran in Sausalito. It is where my Japanese friends go for sushi when in SF. And they have an excellent selection of sake.

And it is walking distance from the ferry. So the routine is go to the ferry terminal and have some oysters at the oyster place there, then head to Sausalito for sushi.

I meant on the west side of the bridge but yeah Marin is heaven and Sausalito and Tiburon are totally styling towns. Marin county's also home to GK and Mesa..

Same here. I don't really remember ever hearing of them before but probably have. I have been watching an old Starz song/video because we are covering this at a one-off gig I am doing with the drummer from my other band. Since then Fanny has been turning up.
