Thunderbird Club

Oh, I don't think I draw that well. It's more functional than artistic and never satisfying to what I've got on my mind. There was alot of erasing going on, too.

Don't know when I'll start, but I hope it pans out sooner than later. Usually I'm not very patient about such things, but this time I'll give myself 'till summer and if it happens before I'll be glad. Don't wanna go all hasty and give up in the end.

Lol, my stick figures show I'm challenged. Lol

Just for fun I thought I'd share a thread I started about bi-amp-able bass heads... I have a project I sort of came into, and sought a little advice on. I guess this would be one version of a typical development one can experience out in the "general population". Lol.

The thread became lost to me soon after the subject of polarity and length of folded horns began to get bandied about:
Amps with Adjustable Crossovers/Bi-Ampable?.

Just scroll along till you get to the first long, technically befuddling entry, I started to fully "check out" by the third page when someone posted a chart of some kind, illustrating behaviors of waves at various phase relationships... Hey I get it that some folks get it. I just thought it was a simple question...

I think I'll just hook the mess up and see what happens! :)

2 things I love in this thread
When they argue with each other, they used a high level nerdwit speak to look smart to the other guy, then translate into layman's terms for every one else.
The way you bow out while they are arguing is priceless

Hey whats is the verdict on these Chinese chrome t bird pups? I read a few things on them, seem like they are good, better than the Gibsons?

I think Scott (God of Thunder) posted a video a few pages back. If not he posted it on the Facebook page. He seems to like them quite a bit. I keep debating about picking up a pair. Not sure what I would use them in yet.

My wife surprised me with the Tech 21 VT Deluxe for Christmas!! I wanted it so I could save settings for a couple of different basses without touching the amp. I need to adjust settings when I switch between a TBird, BlackBird, or a P-J equipped bass now and want to avoid that. Can't wait to dig into this one!! Might be worth looking at for your situation.
Oh HECK yeah! The Tech21 VT units are awesome. I use mine as a DI and just use the PF-800 for a stage monitor. Kinda redundant, but what the heck, right?
