Yeesh! Even for my 67 NR, that's kinda long. I was just curious since I found my strings: EB Cobalt Flats on both 'Birds and will be on others prn except the Ibby semi-hollow(D'Ad tapes)No idea. Long scale winding length is 38" for Ken Smith.
EB I believe is 37".Yeesh! Even for my 67 NR, that's kinda long. I was just curious since I found my strings: EB Cobalt Flats on both 'Birds and will be on others prn except the Ibby semi-hollow(D'Ad tapes)
Uhhh....
Glad you made it over hereHi Everyone,
New Thunderbird owner here, a 2008 model. I was pointed in the direction of this awesome thread when I was looking for a case (settled on the Gator Pro) and once again when I put up a thread on the best strings to use on a T-Bird. Therefore, I think it was about time I said hey!

You're a day early for Show Your Bird Thursday.
A less than rousing success? That’s hilarious. Moreso because, as a mere lad, I put a fretless Precision neck on a Bradley Jazz Bass copy. I still have it but haven’t played it in a millennia.
