Thunderbird Club

Looking great! Is there any significance to the fact that you are between two women and in front of a dumpster in the picture? Just gotta ask because it's the kind of question that has to be asked around here.

I have been told by a 70 year old colleague that spending time in the gym and being healthy in your 50s means you won't hate yourself in your 60s. I'm less than a year behind you, and hope to be able to rock to the finish line as well.
The un edited version, our booking agent Dana on my right and my bass buddies wife Mary.

yes they have neck dive issues.

The one time that I was playing a P bass, my car got broken into. I haven't played a P bass since and my car hasn't been broken into. P basses cause cars to be broken into.

not a myth on my basses. and yes if slung low and played with a pick it is more of a non issue. I dont do either. also non reverse is much better.....

Everyone knows that playing with a pick cures neck dive :rollno:

I've always liked the look and feel and sound of the T bird but, aren't they neck heavy? Last thing I need to do is wrestle with my bass .

Very few of them have enough to matter. As others note, adjust height or angle to suit. I suppose if your left hand is never touching the neck you might notice enough to matter (more than others), but that's a silly way to play bass.
I will note that both of mine have the neck strap button on the back rather than the upper body.

I will note that both of mine have the neck strap button on the back rather than the horn. Not sure how that would help, but some say it does.
It would be seriously awkward if my left hand were touching the neck.

Black is always bad ass but gold adds class with the right color

I totally agree. I've just gotten used to thinking of basses as having either gold, chrome, nickel, or black. The occasional bass I see with black and nickel or chrome hasn't done it for me. This does. I appreciate it both for what it is, and for destroying that box I was thinking in. Boxes suck. Thankfully they only exist if you believe in them. That sort of boxes, anyway.
