There's more vids from that show - the band leader is the bass-player and there's a few different front artists who lead the show. Dancing like that looks so fun!

You are making me kinda think about looking for a Coral Wasp like the Freebass. It would be as close to NR as I will ever get anyway.Nice!Straps are an overlooked intregal part of playing a bass - especially on stage. I used to have one strap for all basses but realized that for at least a number of the basses I own they need their own specific strap. Call it shallow as I want it to "look good/right" but call it functional specifically for that bass.

The band wants me to learn and sing this, makes the bass line a little more challenging, but a fun song for sure

They are pretty rare - none currently out there.
I sing backing vocals on it and find it difficult doing both things at once, but it’s doable. Last time I heard it on the radio, I realized we changed up the arrangement... doesn’t matter.

My drummer buddy recently had his mother in law drive her car into his house, and they had to euthanize their dog the next day.
I was very tempted to make a joke about writing a country song, but couldn’t quite find the right moment

I can imagine one in good condition would be very pricy. I was lucky with the equally rare Coral Deluxe Bass finding one with OHSC for a very reasonable price. (I did a lot of work on it - but it was worth it) There's a molested white one on Reverb for twice what I paid and it's a cross between the CDB and the Silvertone 1443 Hornet (34" scale). Speaking of the Hornet, there are a number of them on Reverb, 2 in VGC with OHSC for a very reasonable asking price. I've heard one played live and it sounded great - but it's a big instrument. (like my CDB) I will not post the link as I don't want to enable.
