Thunderbird Club

Being old-er and a bit traditional, I've always preferred bursts or dark finishes. My THUNDERBIRD is burst, the Ibby is dark, and the Sqwawr is black. The only reason theLPB-2/5 is transparent amber flame is that that's what it was when I found it. And it does look great.

All that being said, these blue or green 'Birds are growing on me.
Green for the win!

or red, or black, or white...

Probably better than mine. My niece, her husband ( a NYC cop ), and their 1 year old all have Covid, but asymptomatic so far. I can't say the same for my 92 year old aunt, who has Alzheimers and is in a nursing home. She also has Covid and has a fever and a cough. She has been treated with the anti-malarial drug ( the name escapes me ) and zithromax. Drs say the next few days will tell the tale. I am praying for them all.

Oh crap Glenn! my good vibes are with you and your loved ones.

This is a pic(fuzzy, as usual)of a little experiment I'd been meaning to try: 67 THUNDERBIRD>EHX Micro POG. Dry output>Rumble 200c>R112cab with 200c efx send>R100 efx return. Micro POG efx (1 octave up)out>R40. Results are[up to] 200W through 1x15+1x12, plus 100W through 1x12, plus the R40's 1x10. All tone through the 200/100/112 cab controlled by the 200c's knobs and buttons; R40 EQ'ed separately. Octave effect only comes outta the R40, making it almost sound like a guitar playing a unison line with the bass.
I'm pretty certain I'll never take all this on a gig(assuming there are any), but nice to know it works. And, since I live by myself in a detached house, I can crank it up 'til 10PM and leave it set up in the living room. No one to bit...er, gripe.
Sorry for fuzziness of pic. Not enuff light in the house.
