Depends. Got the legs for 'em?Want to see a pic of my black nylons?
Strings. Black nylon tape wound strings.
I have heard it said (but doubt the veracity) that it is better for the airline and manufacturer if everyone dies as the death settlement is cheaper than the disability settlement. I have never bothered to do the math around it, but a quick noodling of the costs suggest it can't be true.DC-3s have a safety rating of 5…..you’d be losing money if you built modern airliners to that standard…..sad but true…
blew me away how unsafe this mill was (scandy safety standards are among the most stringent but may not apply to mills) mind you, this was 20 years ago….Osha would have had a field day… blades flying around uncovered (no safety curtains) slicing 10 foot diameter paper rolls…massive completely exposed pulp screws on the ground…..no forklift lanes….gnarly stuff….
I loved hearing those and other prop planes as a kid. Still do, but it's so rare these days. One of the coolest mechanical sounds on earth. That thing was a tank in the sky.
Sound clips Bob. We need sound clips! I'm guessing the Lollars made a huge difference form the stock PUs.2018 LE Thunderbird with Lollar pickups. I figured I'd better post this before I got kicked out. I need photography lessons too.

Sure do.Depends. Got the legs for 'em?
It is probably overreacting. It always does. Just think how wealthy you will feel when it all comes back. You will feel so flush that you will buy a Thunderbird to celebrate. We’ll, after the market’s performance the las few days, I may be in the same boat.
Yep. You’re right. Last year was very good. A new Mesa amp and cab, and a non-reverse and a short scale Thunderbird. It is probably overreacting. It always does. Just think how wealthy you will feel when it all comes back. You will feel so flush that you will buy a Thunderbird to celebrate.
Can’t unsee that.
If you want, I can send my Boston based daughter to fetch it. She can bring it to me and you can pick it up the next time you come to California. They did, unfortunately it's in a storage space in Mass and I have only looked it for a couple of seconds in the last couple of years. I'm hopefully going back soon for a while and will get some of my stuff. I thought the originals sounded pretty good though too.
i’ve been to the Stora Enso paper mill in Imatra for work years ago… it was -60 deg C!
you could see another mill down the hill in russian territory that had once been Finnish…blew my mind that I started understanding the signs posted in swedish since the ones in russian and suomi were completely foreign to my eye…

You need compression black nylons (strings)...
And everyone says the melons are bad...Can’t unsee that.

Interesting. I discovered them about the time of the third album, Mutiny Up My Sleeve (`78). The music is cool and not for everyone, much of it did not follow the pop formula. They nearly hit big in Europe by touring with Rush. After the band broke up, Kim Mitchell formed his own band and the keyboard player went on to teach medical illustration at U of T (Toronto, not Texas).
They stay up by themselves...the truss is holding those up
