My 76' Tbird.....seen a lot of miles and I don't take her out of the studio much these days, but still got that amazing tone.

Anybody own one of the new Gibson Tbird 5 strings? Saw one at GC the other day, doesn't look like it's neck thru, but still caught my eye.

Yeah, I got a Studio 5 last year. They've got set necks, but sound amazing. My only 5 string, and only bass with humbuckers. Sweet, dark, and mean. LOVE this bass.

Anyone planning on changing their bridge to the new Hipshot replacement? I replaced the 3-pt bridge on my Schecter with one and it was nice improvement.

This is an Epi that used to be the bass I'd use on tour when I knew something bad might happen (house parties, crazy bars). It was thrown, dropped, stepped on etc... It was originally tobacco burst but since it was so beaten I painted it kind of a seafoamish light green (latex wall paint mind you!) It's still in the arsenal but only used for when a bass is gonna take a beating. Oh and as you can see, it's missing the g string right now.

An Epi Goth Series
Wow! I love these magic eye/ optical illusion thingies. If you stare at the picture long enough, you think you see a guy playing bass! Sorry, but that guitarist is CUTE!! And no, I do not currently own a t-bird, but I plan on fixing that eventually. Maybe I can convince Nino to make another V-bird, as that would be just too sweet.
