Thunderbird String Dilemma

I got this '13 T-bird last Christmas time, and I've been playing it with the stock Gibson strings up to now. I have a box full of different strings I could put on it-including the DRs and GHS' that most everybody says a 'Bird should wear- but, I LIKE the Gibson strings . And Gibson doesn't make them anymore. So, who makes something that will be a suitable substitute, and give me the sound I get now? Any ideas? (with any luck, I may have a set already, and don't know it).

It depends on the sound you are looking for of course, but D'Addario Flex Steels or Pro Steels seem to be a good replacement.

I did. the Answer was "Nickel plated hex-core roundwounds; and there are a lot to choose from". I did some looking this morning, and yes, there are. Oh well.. it's a place to start, anyway...
