I've always associated Gibson Thunderbirds with the bluesier side of "hair metal" from the late 80's and very early 90's for some reason.

When I think of T-Bird, I think of The Who...but that's showing my age!
Wals are the only thing as rare in my neck o thee woodings as T Birds. I've seen orders of magnitude more Ken Smiths, Allevas, and Rick 4004s than T Birds.Thunderbirds are.. ..Not that common?
