Thundercat's doubleneck Ibanez.

First, I am not the biggest Ibanez fan but I think their quality is great and they are available at very reasonable prices. But if Ibanez either released the Thundercat doubleneck or sold the 8 string version of his bass, I would buy it tomorrow. Aesthetically, this bass is beautiful and with the range of the 6 string and 8 string neck, a lot of sonic ground is covered. Probably Ibanez has not heard much feedback on this issue. Also I know that there are doubleneck posts on here but I just wanted to throw my two cents in.

Looks beautiful! I also love Thundercat's 6-string semi-hollow bass.

I would love Ibanez to release an Artcore version of that bass.

Ibanez's custom shop is only accessible to endorsers and he's one of their highest profile. It probably didn't take much negotiation -- his customs have been pretty conservative with the embellishments and exotic materials compared to most Custom Shop work.
